Animated Intro for a game help!

Hello!

In school we've got this project that we're supposed to do, so me and two other friend decided to make a game.
Then my friend came to me and said that he would like an intro to the game (You know the "company" logo and that stuff).
The thing is, that it should be including water, and I haven't been working with animated water before.

My friend wanted the intro like this:
You see a sea with the horizon and all, then a dolphin jumps out of the water and down again in an arc, then the dolphin should appear again but jus showing the face, smiling and then there should be a text about the "company".

So what's the best way of doing this? Reactor?

So if I could get some help achiveing this I'd be most thankful.

Thank you
//Jompa

There is two ways of doing this with a plane or Cylinder a ripple or a wave in geometric/deformable space warps

first idea is create a big flat Cylinder then go to the space warps drop down menu and click on the geometric/deformable and choose the ripple create both in the top view make sure the ripple is touching the edge of the Cylinder

on the main tool bar select the bind too space warps drag the dotted line over to the ripple now turn on the auto key and animate the Amplitude 1/Amplitude 2 once you have completed turn off the auto key button hit the play button

the second way is basicly the same

instead of a ripple and a Cylinder you swap them over to a plane and a wave. but you put the wave inside the plane and do the same as a above as i told you
