Game Development Question
I am interested in using 3DS Max scenes for game development. I've searched google and amazon for how 3DS scenes can be used in interactive gaming but nothing of use came up. If I were to create a "game world" what would I use to interface with it (i.e. program movement control). I can do Visual Basic, Actionscript, and some Java programming. Can any of those languages use 3DS scenes for such a task? If not, what resources would you recommend I read / learn?

Sorry i misread your post i doubt your going to find any books like that
the best author out there is michele bousquet she has a book called How to Cheat in 3ds Max 2009: Get Spectacular Results Fast (How to Cheat in): Get Spectacular Results Fast (How to Cheat in) there is another one called 3ds Max Modeling for Games: Insider's Guide to Game Character, Vehicle, and Environment Modeling by Andrew Gahan. (this is not out yet here in Ireland it maybe out in the states) |
