Two color translucent glass

So I'm trying to make a translucent glass with the top half part of one color, and the bottom half another. I'm using 3ds Max and Vray.
I've tried connecting Gradient and Gradient Ramp on the Reflect and Refract but nothing.

You may have to put your two colors on a "diffuse map" in the "Maps" part of the Material Editor. Then add an opacity map to the "opacity map" slot. Whatever's black on the opacity map will read clear on the model. Varying with gray shades will alter the opacity.
