UVW mapping

Help!

I am trying to use uvw mapping to put a cover on a book. when i apply the material to the book the front cover of the odject disappears and the material goes onto the back cover even though the "cover" is one object. Its almost like when you have to flip normals on an object except this is for a material. b4 the material is applied the object is fine.

Try clicking "2 sided material" in the Material Editor. If the book is an extruded spline, it'll act weird if the corner grip handles cross each other. Try uncrossing them.
