Santa Hat avatar tutorial
We will be going fro
1. Crop your picture 2. Duplicate base layer and set to screen 3. Duplicate base layer again and set to screen 4. Find a stock photo of a santa hat (or use one of those): Scale and rotate it until it fits your image. 5. Add a new adjustment layer - Black and White (only in CS3). Set the values to: Reds 120, Yellows 110, Greens 40, Cyans -30, Blues 0, Magentas 70. Set this adjustment layer to Color burn opacity 54%. |

6. Create a new color layer #c5ff15
Set it to Darken, 45% 7. Create a new color layer #d21a26 Set it to hue, 42%. 8. Create a new adjustmen layer - levels. Set the values to 29, 1.11 and 255. Set this adjustment layer to Color Burn, 18%. 9. Duplicate the base layer again and bring it to front. Desaturate it and set it to Hue at 36%. 10.
