Hello, a new hatch can be easily created by following same steps: 1) type "h then ENTER", to enter in Hatch Edit. 2) click in the swatch pallet to select the specifc hatch you desire to use, you can chose whatever you want. 3)Now, to fill the object you are working with, you may chose in the "Boundaries" options a specific kind of hatch. Try using all of them, and see witch one will be the best for your needs. 4) You can change the angle and the scale of the hatch if you want, just changing the setting in "Angle and Scale" space. 5) Another thing that you could do is to set up the "hatch origin", specifing where the hatch would start or end. |

Hi
When creating a hatch, always use closed boundaries. I recommend that you use closed polylines, else you risk that the hatch exceed the boundaries. In the menu I use <add: Pick points>. That works in the most cases. You can also access the Hatch and Hatch Edit commands from a toolbar. Right-click on a existing toolbar. Then you see a list of toolbars. Activate toolbars by clicking on the ones you need. Lars |
