My line does not render??
hi
i have created a line in 3d studio max 6, i then specified the line thickness in the renderable window thing and also display render. this is fine producing my line BUT when i render it theres nothing there???? Any ideas people? many thanks mark |

reinstal 3ds max
spoit of these all setting you face the problem i think you have to reinstal the 3ds max.

u don't need to reinstall, this happens to mine and my friends so this is what i do...
1. i clone the line and put it's copy right next to it. 2. i convert both lines to NURBS 3. in the NURBS toolbox i click U surface and click on both lines, this should create a small surface which can be rendered... if this doesn't work tell me |

i just found another way
at the bottom of the line create a very small circle, make sure the circle is right a the bottom of the line l <<Line l l (i hope this diagram helps =P) l () << Circle Now go to compound objects in the geometry dialogue and click on the loft object, now in the creation method rollout click 'get path' and now click the line This is a more complicated but more accurate method, good luck =) |

select line > right click > at the bottom ... convert to editmesh or editablepolly ...
this worked for me |
