Texture?
hey!!
im modellin (attemp "h") a interior (i.e room) im trying to put fancy cornice in the room but after trying many different tekniks the actual texture isnt good at all. i want it to look verry verry real. can some1 just tel me how to do it plz. i tried drawing the profile, extruding it then applying the image as a map but doesnt look real and not clear either. the images can be obtained: http://www.adudleyandsons.com/[/url] |

soz.. using 3ds max 6. the texture seems planner only no depth or anything realistic what so ever. any other methods of doing it plz..
btw.. where is the "animate" button on max 6? max 3 had the beeeg one |

On the Create panel, click the drop-down arrow and choose Compound Objects from the list.
Click Boolean. use an object to subtract the materal away to give you the look your wanting then make a texture in photo shop save a 2nd image in grayscale mode save as bmp file formate then in levels brighten & darken the areas more use this in the bump map roll out for the mat. |
