Angry Need Help with Removing White Background on Photo

I've been trying to work on a project in CINEMA 4D for the past week or so, and stumbled across a problem. I can't seem to get an image into my work without the white parts showing up. The white parts in the image are supposed to be transparent, but when I create a texture using them and apply it to a disc, the white still shows up. Whats the simplest way to fix this?

Apparently I'm not allowed to post images so I can send it to you if you'd like.

Try using a photo editor like Adobe photoshop.

That's not the issue, the issue is that when I import the photo to Cinema4D, any transparent background I create is just turned back into white.

Does Cinema4D not support PNG/GIF files?

If you import png file with transparent areas, they will work just fine. Otherwise, use alpha channel in material editor.
