Can not display images by CSS

Hello there, I've got a problem to display my website layout on browser.

All images are disappeared.

On Dreamweaver CS4, I still view all images

However, When I view on Firefox or IE, nothing appears

What did I do wrong then ?

My HTML code:

PHP Code:
<html> <head> <title>Hung</title> <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1"> <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="/template/style.css"> </head> <body> <div id="container"> <div id="header"></div> <div id="menu"></div> <div id="whitebody">  </div> <div id="footer"></div> </div> </body> </html

CSS code:

PHP Code:
 body{     color:#FFF;     margin: 0px;     padding:0px; }  #container{     background-position:center; } #header{     background:url(/template/images/header.gif);     background-repeat: no-repeat;     width: 800px;     height: 80px; }  #menu{     background-image:url(/template/images/menu.gif);     background-repeat:no-repeat;     width: 800px;     height: 55px; }  #whitebody{     background-image:url(/template/images/backgroundbdoy.gif);     background-repeat:no-repeat;     width: 800px;     height: 441px; }  #footer{     background-image:url(/template/images/footer.gif);     background-repeat:no-repeat;     width: 800px;     height: 24px; }

 background:url(/template/images/header.gif);     background-repeatno-repeat;     width800px;     height80px; }

I guess u need to fix the url, try to change it to
PHP Code:
#container  {background:url("template/images/header.gif");}

you need to put quotes between the url source code..cmiiw

Solution 1: If you are not able see images on your website make sure all the paths of all images are correct or not.

Solution 2 : The image you're seeing in Dreamweaver may be its locally stored images(on your mac). You need to upload it through ftp onto your website's server.
