Great idea no clue how to

well iown a small hosting company and i thought of a way to make some extra money, i saw a auto account creation tool from URL called autohost and i was wondering how i could make one like that but a bit better, now i dont want the same kind of design i just want something similar to it, i know i have to use php but the thing is i dont know php that well and i was wondering if anybody could steer me in the right direction of this project
any advice is welcome

For the most part the auto-account creation scripts are pretty complex.. but, the creation of accounts by themselves are rather simple. Are you running some sort of control panel on your server? (CPanel, Plesk, etc) If so, look into their development tools and they most likely have a class or function or a description of how to create a new account using their API or scripts.

If you don't have a control panel, then you should probalby start by looking for readily developed free scripts (bash, perl, php, whatever) that do the account creation process and just create a simple script to call that.

In other words.. try to re-use as much code as possible because there's no point re-inventing the wheel.

i have cpanel/whm installed on my server, i will have a look at pre done scripts and i will get back to let you know how i get on thanks
