How do I create cascading rollovers?

Hello,
I'm not sure that I'm describing it correctly. Basically, I have a list to the left of my site of just 2 words stacked. I've figured out how to create simple rollovers using images and color changes. What I need to do is when I rollover each word..to have another list pop out to the right that you could scroll down and in addition each of those words have pop out lists to the right that will link to the corresponding pages that i've created in Dreamweaver. Can anyone help me with this? I would greatly appreciate any assistance with this. I've been given quite the large project from my employer and I am pretty green when it comes to using Dreamweaver. I've figured out most everything except this.

Julie

It's much, much less code to create a flyout or dropdown menu using JavaScript.

The only way I know of doing it in CSS involves lists and DIV's.

If you're still interested, I could show you, but it's a lot of code for one menu and may take a fair bit of explanation

How do I create cascading rollover?

I actually wouldn't mind a flyout at this point. But I still am unfamiliar with how to do it. I've recently downloaded a free software program from sothink.com that seems like it will work. I'll know when I try and copy and paste the code into my dreamweaver document. If I still have trouble I will probably be back here asking for your help on how to paste my code and make it work.
Thanks so much for your reply. And I agree with you about the lists and DIV's route. Adobe as well as other Dreamweaver enthusiasts indicate that it's so simple. But I'd have to learn the program front to back in order for it to seem simple. I just don't have that kind of time.

Actually, HTML/CSS is a very simple language to understand -- I think you'd surprise yourself with how easy it is to learn.

I hope you do get it to work but if not, I look forward to providing you with more assistance

Smile Thanks for the support.

Thanks for the replies. I was able to make something quickly with the menu software from sothink. It's not exciting but I think your right about the HTML and CSS being simple so I will definitely take the time to learn them well when I'm finished with this site. I've just been pretty rushed to do this project. The menu software worked for the purpose of getting something up quickly without having to learn much. I can't wait to re-do it to be the way that I really want it to be. I'm sure I'll be contacting you sometime soon for your assistance with that. Thanks again!
