Is this possible to do in dreamweaver experienced help please

I have created a full layout with photoshop. Navigation, and all. Is it possible to save that image as a Jpg. then import it to dreamweaver. and then right click or some how edit a transparent layer above the back ground to be the functional buttons?

Or do I need to import the images piece by piece and link by link?

I am very new to coding and have been designing for a while now. I am used to creating layouts in PSD and sending them off to someone to code for me. I have no idea how this process works. =( Anyone willing to teach me?
