Restrict Access Behavior ot working as expected

I am a total novice at dynamic websites. I am working a tutorial and all has gone well until I get to the "restrict access" behavior. Everything is set up according to the tutorial (I redid it several times to be sure).

When I view the restricted page in Chrome, it works correctly. When I view it in Firefox it skips the login page and goes directly to the restricted page. When I view it in Liveview it goes to the login page, but does not allow me to log in.

Shouldn't these three views behave the same way? What on earth am I doing wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
