Japanese m-ticketing reaches 1 million users
Japanese mass-transit operator East Japan Railway (JR East) has reached 1 million users for its Mobile Suica mobile contactless wallet phone service. The service enables customers to pay for public transport rides by tapping mobile phones at terminals installed at gates.
