SEO Vs. PPC

SEO Vs PPC

Effect on ROI

SEO being an on-going technique of website promotion is likely to attract a
higher Return on Investment whilst website traffic through PPC ad campaign lasts only till the time your campaign is functional.

Favorable Time Period

In SEO it is important to optimize your website since the time it has been launched. Initially to rank all your keywords and later to sustain your search engine page ranks whilst PPC ads can benefit you the most during the peak times. For example:- during festivals, on a grand event etc.

Results

SEO techniques do not assure immediate results. It may take around 3-6 months to make your website keyword rich whilst Results through PPC ad campaigns are displayed right after your ad campaign is launched.

Effectiveness

SEO provides you more stable results whilst PPC ads which offers unstable results, depends on the amount of money an advertiser is willing to invest.

Modifications

In SEO it is not easy to obtain instant page ranks in case you change your keywords whilst using PPC It is easier to customize and modify your PPC ad campaign after analyzing the effectiveness of the keywords used, landing page of your advertisement, ad positioning, bids per keyword etc.

If you don't have the sufficient budget for advertisements then usual SEO techniques are handy for you but if you have a good budget for advertisements then PPC campaign and SEO marketing strategies will gives you the desirable results quickly.

SEO follow "Slow and steady winds the race"
PPC follow "Quick Results"

If you are looking for long term results then I would like to suggest you go for SEO because Search Engine Optimization is Slow and Effective process so you can get Good Solid result with less cost as compare to PPC. Pay Per Click is useful when you want to get result for short term, but it costs you more than SEO as far as concerned with results.
