How can you make an AutoCAD file compatible with Lightscape 2007

I'm using Cad and i'm trying to get a floorplan drawing into Lightscape 2007. The CAD drawing appears fine when loaded into Lightscape 2012, but because of the project we have to use Lightscape 2007. Unfortunately only parts of the floorplan appear when loaded into Lightscape 2007, I've played around with layers, I've saved it as the earliest version of CAD that I can and nothing works. Does anyone know how to load a CAD drawing into Lightscape 2007?
