Creating several new frames from images quickly?

hi,
there is probably a simple answer for this but i cant find it...

i have saved several bmp images on my computer, all of them frames from a clip. i want to import all these images as individual frames in fireworks, therefore re-creating the clip, but this time being able to export it as a .GIF.

i know i can do it the slow way - make a new frame, import the image, make another frame, import the next image... etc etc...)

but i dont want to have to do that so many times (actually, i would probably have it done by now if i hadnt bothered writing this thread).

anyone have any ideas?
