Fireworks VS PhotoShop

What are the reasons to work in Fireworks rather than in PhotoShop? Is it only for web work while PS is for print?
Thanks

Well I am using both Fireworks and Photoshop. If I have to choose one between two I will go for photoshop because it is easy to use as compare to Fireworks.

Well in my view, photoshop is the best and i don't think any other tool over takes the photoshop. It is the best tool for the photo editing and it has all the effects and every thing in it. Hope you all enjoy this photoshop.

I too have ask the same question, but mine was in respect to Photoshop vs Illustrator.

I have noticed many are using Photoshop more so than Illustrator these days for Logo's and other Graphics for the web.

Myself, I do like Photoshop. But when it come to more Dynamic Graphics like buildings and other objects, Illustrator is king.

But I do agree, Photoshop is far better than Fireworks. But hey, this is my opinion.
