I have seen a for loop with ;; inside of it. i am just wondering what in the heck that would do.

that's how a for loop basicaly looks like....

i know how to write for loops, but i have seen 1 with ;; in it. is it just an empty for loop or what?

Totally forgot about this. I've been busy. BTW the answer to OP's question is: that for loop acts exactly like a while(true) loop.
