Making flash buttons

I'm new and am going thru a tute. It says to define the clickable area of a button, drag button from library to movie, right click on button, choose properties and an Instance menu appears. Well, I'm not getting the Instance menu.
I guess the instance menu is where all the actions are added. What am I doing wrong? I've followed the directions to a tee but I'm not finding the Instance menu.

Any help is appreciated

Putting an action to the button

I'm not sure what you want to do. If you want the aria of the button to be bigger I don't remember how to d that. But if you want to add a action to the button you can simply find the action menu if you press F9 or Window -> Development panels -> Actions
Remember to set the button on first

Send a message via AIM to Pixelmixer
Try this...

1. Create a movie with something in it
2. Press F8 to make it a button.
3. Double click your button.
4. Insert a keyframe in the HIT area...(4th frame)
5. In the HIT keyframe add a filled box or shape in the area that you want to act as the button.

Not sure if thats what you meant, hope it helps.
