resizing swf files
hi,
when i resize the window of my swf file all the symbols are distorted, as they are enlarged too. is there any way of increasing the swf area without altering the size or dimentions of the symbols?
i hope this is clear enough...

ok, thanks, that seems to work but how can i make the file have this setting by default (i.e. when it is opened, without having to right click)
btw, i'm trying to make a webpage that will adjust itself depending on the size of the browser window.
thanks
;)

you could use this properties to rescale the contents according to the users screen resolution :
System.capabilities.screenResolutionX
and
System.capabilities.screenResolutionY

EDIT: actually, it only seems to work when i resize the swf window, not when i save it as html, it just stays the default size. (?)

I don't realy think you can resize a swf inside a html just as simple as you would resize the swf in the flash player...you could use a table with width set to ...20% or something like that...that way it could work...I dunno...read this http://www.moock.org/webdesign/flash/fillthewindow.html...it will probably give you all the answers you need
