Creating a Static .jpeg

I'm a total newbie with Gimp.

It seems like a great program which does so much but it's not the easiest to learn.

I've figured out how to create an animated jpeg of a 4 page PDF.

I haven't figured out how to make that jpeg static - not animated.

If anyone has figured that out could you please share the steps?

Thank you kindly.
