I must be stupid

I have saved lots of photos that I have edited. Today I wanted to delete one of them from my USB Key and blow me, I just cannot find a way to do it. I can edit it but can I delete it from my key? No way. Please guy's can you advise me on this it's driving me crackers. Regards Cypher

Did you open the image in GIMP from the USB stick and then go to the USB stick and try and delete it? If you did, you need to close GIMP first and then open the USB stick and try and delete it.

I did indeed. Like I said, I must be stupid, but thanks to you and your help I am now sorted out and shall remember this sobering lesson. 77 years of age is definitely not the age to try getting to grips with Gimp, but it is a wonderful piece of software and I like it.
