Is There A Temp Folder In GIMP Anywhere?
I'm trying desperately to recover a "lost" project that I've spent 8+ hours on already, and if GIMP has a Temp folder, then my project MIGHT be in there.
Is there such a thing as a Temp folder in GIMP, and if so, then where is it located? |

Unfortunately no, I guess the people over at gimp.org just thought you would save your work, especially if you worked on it for 8 hours, but then again you did not know how to, which they definantly have to explain in the near future when first downloading Gimp, I guess you had to learn the hard way.

Thanks for the help, Shadowraith... It would also have helped me if my learning-style had been a bit more expansive-- involving the reading and watching of GIMP tutorials... I've enjoyed the ridiculously long and arduous process of figuring-out things on my own... Since my recent calamity of losing my work, I've learned that watching video tutorials is quite fun...
Though I agree with you... Perhaps if GIMP had stressed greater and more obviously how important it was to save one's work using "xcf" extensions, this may not have happened. |
