Problems after saving
Hi all Im looking for some help.

After I save as an .xcf I cannot edit any layers. Even if I create a new layer an place it on top of everything else, I cannot get the pen tool to do anything.

What am I doing wrong, can anyone suggest an answer?

Please ignore this, I found out what the problem was. There was still an area that was selected and it wouldnt let me do anything untill you told it to unselect.
