Where is script fu feature in The GIMP?
I've spent hours trying to find a tutorial on how to use script fu to find out where this feature actually is on the GIMP program.
The only place I can find script fu mentioned on my GIMP program is in the Xtns between file and help on the main program gui, but all it shows under that script fu is refresh scripts, script fu console and start server. I already put some scripts I downloaded in GIMP's script folder but I can't even find the script fu option in GIMP so I can use them. Please help. |

Depending on your version of Gimp Script-Fu can be found in different places. If you are using Gimp v2 Script-Fu can be found in the canvas window (Where you edit/create images etc) up the top next to Filters as a drop down menu. If you are using Gimp v2.2.4 the Script-fu effects can be found in different places in the Filters drop down menu. Such as you can find Drop Shadow, which used to be in the Script-fu menu, in Filters>Light And Shadow. Just keep looking through the Filters menu until you familiarize yourself with it and know where the old Script-fu effects are.
