well this is not really big deal, open your material editor and then expand maps rollout go to buttom and you will find (Reflection) and then click on (None) then from materials list choose (Raytrace) by defualt the value is set to 100 play around you got it.

hope this will help you.

good luck!

thanks a lot has worked.

i lowered the setting to 50 otherwise it was too bright.

but cant you tell me how to make the reflection better quality, at the moment the reflections of the objects are invery low resolution compared to the actual object themselves.

well you can also use HDRI for your nice looking reflection,

first find out your HDRI image and then go to (Render>>Environement>> click on it there is a button (None) click and then from list choose (Bitmap) the file broswer will open find out your HDRI image and assign it.

now go to material editor click on (Material>>Get Material>> look at the left side of this window there is bunch or radio button click on (Scene) then double clikc on (Environement) you will see your HDRI image is now available on the material editor slot just select it and look at its parameters down side from drop down menu choose (Spherical) there you go.

hit render .

hope to help you.

good luck!

brilliant mate cheers.

i have a totally different question that i hope you can answer.

here are the images.

it seem half of my project is still stuck in default light while the other half are on proper lighting.

i don't know how to make it all proper lighting so i can light it up properly instead of the ugly default lighting.

i have tried putting omni's where the default light seems to be stuck but it wont work.

even when i render it,

these are render, all i do is move the camera around. i cant understand why one half of the room is fine (the top picture) but the other half is stuck in ugly default lighting.

well this is really not big deal remove all your default lights expect one omni and then use sky light in the middle of your room, it will take longer in render but the result will be great.

instead you can also use v-ray render engine if you have it.

if you dont have just let me know.

good luck!
