How to make the Backgroud Transparent
I just made a 3D animation in Max 8 and I now want to use it in photoshop, but I keep getting a black backgroud, is there a way to render it with a transparent backgroud?
Thanks |

I think if you export it as gif or png it the black will be transparent (works that way in maya) but im not sure for Max.

yep Curtis is right ...
png export will give transparent BG in max aslong as you have no image in the environment P.S. you might have to use 24 bit not 48 bit as the choice and the alpha box ticked .. interlaced is for a sequence to be put into video as photoshop 7 has problems .. not shure on later releases though |
