Logs not getting captured on my linux machine
/var/log/secure logs are not getting captured on my linux machine, If I logon to my machine and check, there won't be any secure log captured in my linux machine, need help how to resolve this problem and like to know where the problem persists.
Here is the /etc/syslog.conf file output:
# Log all kernel messages to the console.
# Logging much else clutters up the screen.
# Log anything (except mail) of level info or higher.
# Don't log private authentication messages!
# The authpriv file has restricted access.
# Log all the mail messages in one place.
# Log cron stuff
# Everybody gets emergency messages
# Save news errors of level crit and higher in a special file.
# Save boot messages also to boot.log
and /var/log/secure permissions :
-rw------- 1 root root 0 Nov 2 04:02 /var/log/secure
