Small question about curve animation interpretation in maya

Hi, i have some script describing maya animation curve with 2 points.

setAttr ".ktv[0:1]" 270 -178.64894104003906 271 -176.55380249023438
setAttr ".kix[0:1]" 0.015907835215330124 0.016221838071942329
setAttr ".kiy[0:1]" 0.99987351894378662 0.99986845254898071
setAttr ".kox[0:2]" 0.015907835215330124 0.016221838071942329
setAttr ".koy[0:2]" 0.99987351894378662 0.99986845254898071

the ktv sectionis easy .. its just x,y coordinates of this 2 points.
Maya makes curve form bezier points ( to describe this curve we need 4 points )... so the kix,...kox are some how related to the rest 2 points.
I completly dont know how to get this 2 points from this set.
kix and kiy are coordinates of some unit vector
( i mean for ex. kix[0]^2 + kiy[0]^2 = 0.015907835215330124 ^ 2 + 0.99987351894378662 ^2 = 1) but its NOT tangent vector to this curve.
Can somebody explain me meaning of this kix, kiy, kox, koy and how they are related to bazier points.

Regards

KOX and KOY points refer to the points outside the curve that determine its construction. The math is a bit much to explain here
