Open a form with filter applied

In VBA code I am trying to open a form with a filter. Here's the code: DoCmd.OpenForm "ClientServicesInput", , , "[Clientid]=" & iContactID

The form opens with no records. The filtered button at the button is highlighted. If I click on the button, all the records from the underlying table are displayed. When I click on the button again (it now reads 'unfiltered') and the correct records are displayed.

I expected the form to open with the correct list of records being displayed; not to have to click the filtered button twice to make it work.
