Paint Shop Pro Tutorial: Neon Text...

This is a tutorial to create a glowing neon effect text.
This tutorial requires minimal Paint Shop Pro knowledge.
Paint Shop Pro is the only equipment I have used for this tutorial.

Create a new image file.
For the purposes of this tutorial I am using size 200x600 with a black background.
Select the text tool.
Enter your desired font, text size and color (I am using Monotype Corsiva, size 90 and a Neon Green) and enter the text you wish to "Neonize"
Click OK.

IMPORTANT: Click Selections>Select None without this, none of the following effects will work.

Click Effects>Edge>Dilate
Do this a further 2 times. (Once you are familiar with the method you can adjust this according to your personal preference)
Now click Effects>Blur>Blur More
Do this a further 2 times.

Select the text tool once again.
Leave your settings exactly the same, however change your font color to black (Personally I think this is the only color that works, but feel free to alter this)
Place the new text over the existing blurred text.
Click Effects>Blur>Blur for a seamless transition.

This is what your final image should look like; (depending on the colors you used)

Voila! Neon text.

Any problems or questions regarding this tutorial, please don't hesitate to contact me via IM
