PaintShop Pro 9 Disc Not Recogised in Laptop Player

Hi Everybody,
I am using a DELL Latitude E6400. it has Windows 7 64 bit on it....

My Windows XP PC is Dead at the moment .... When I get some $$$s.. I'll get it repaired

I love Paint Shop Pro 9 ..... For 10 yrs at least I used PSP 7 on my PC..... I went to a Corel X? Upgrade.....

But Hated it....So as suggested on Forums ,... I went to Jasc PSP 9. ( Great to Use)..... and it ran Perfectly.

I Tried to put PSP 9 onto the Laptop and Install it,.....But I couldn't get the Disc Drive to Recognise it at all.

I have 2 Genuine DVD Discs ( I suppose they are DVDs ? )...

I had No Problems installing them onto my PC,...

I downloaded PSP 9 Off the Net Directly onto the Laptop ... and have a Trial period of 60 days..... So PSP 9 does run on Windows 7

I ran a Chuck Berry DVD... So the Player works.

I Previously I installed with CD Disc PSP 7.... No Problems... But I need to get PSP9 Disc Regognised

So How can I get the DVD player to recognise the Disc ... and Install it.

Any Help will be most Welcome

Cheers Ron

Solved : Disc Type

Well at Last I know what was the Problem..

Something I haven't stated before that the Disc was a Black coloured one.

The Computer Guy at Shop... Had to try it in a couple of PCs before it was Recognizable. He could see all the Files etc on the "CD" Disc.

Turns out the Black Disc is a Type that was used in Play Stations ... A Hard wearing type

One of my Old PC Drives I ran it on to install it... everdently had No problem with it..... like the one in the Shop.

He is going to Clone the Disc onto an "Ordinary" Silver type, So I can use it on all machines.

So I am Glad all this drama is over and have found a Result.

Sorry,...I didn't think to mention it was Black.... Because I didn't know that was Rare.

Thanks very much for your Assistance in trying to sort this out

You are never too Old to Learn....

Cheers Ron
