PSP8 and no default printer??

PSP8 and no default printer??

I have Paint Shop Pro 8. When I use Print it works fine. When I try to use Print Layout it tells me I don't have a default printer installed. I do! I have a HP Deskjet 6940 and it is the default printer. I'm running Windows XP SP 2. Have 1 gig ram, AMD Athlon 64 processor 3800+ 2.41 ghz. Thanks for any help.
