Custom error messages in HTML from CGI help.

Hello to all.

I have a Perl script that is supposed to parse HTML, locate occurrences of $error, $message and $hiddenData, replace with a string genrated by the script, then redirect to the new page.

The problem is, the string is never replaced, just displays the page with the $error and $message and $hiddenData untouched.

Please send e-mail here if you want to see the HTML and Perl script:

URL

TIA.
