nice
Really nice finished affect. I would like to adapt this one to print using my own car and personalising it a little. Only thing is: yep, ime a newbi nd have only just got photoshop. Ime not criticising you cos its nice to share these ideas nd techniques, but isn't the idea to teach people how to use this application step by step? i know to someone with only a little experience this tutorial would contain enough info to suffice, as they would have already mastered the basics, but it took me 3 frustrating hours to work out that perhaps a new layer was required in order to place the flower shape on the green template. ok learning curve nd its something that from now on will become 2nd nature. But then theres the other problem i have. I dont know how to mark out the tips of the flower shape in order to create the star affect. I eventually found the direct selection tool and simultaneously held down the shift key at the tips of the flower shape as instructed.... By 4am i wanted to throw the monitor through my window...... so eventually i gave up and created a look of my own, not wanting all those hours go to waste. on the edge of the finished sphere i used a pen tool and drew squiggles all the way round out to in, using 00e400, i then duplicated the layers four times rotating them at rnd. and the result was electrifying with a reduced circumference. I then managed to take different shade samples from around the edges of the sphere and used various brushes to create some really nice affects to the design. although ime happy with my finished article i would still like to know how to mark the star out and use your design for my brothers car. kind regards. Hazyboy....
