Can't save powerpoint as file

Can't save powerpoint as file

Loaded my new computer with MO 2003, and started a Powerpoint project. Program worked fine on my old Dell laptop, but the new Dell laptop doesn't save the project as anything. There is no .ppt extension, in fact, no extension at all.

I can open the project from Powerpoint, but cannot open it from a file in HD, or flashdrive. Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

I tried in another forum but got no answers.
