Synced audio/video

I have Premiere Pro CS3 and Matrox RT.X2. When I capture audio and video and then play it back from the timeline, the audio and video are off--the audio doesn't match the subjects lips. What can be wrong?

What is the spec of your computer? When did you last defragment your hard disk? Are you using standard defintion video or high definition video?
