VB 2008 Calculator Help

Hey, everyone!
I'm a programming noob and this is my first post on this site aswell. I'm glad to be a part of the community.

I've been given the Infamous VB calculator project and I have no idea how to make an array of the command buttons then assign them a value (0-9 for example)

please help.

Hi Moviepirate

Welcome to the forum. Here the type of thing you sound like your looking for.

Code:
Dim myButton(10) As Button

        For i = 0 To 9
            myButton(i) = New Button
            myButton(i).Text = i
            myButton(i).Height = 20
            myButton(i).Width = 20

'This will needed to be change to suit your form
            If i > 6 Then
                myButton(i).Top = 10
                myButton(i).Left = (i - 7) * 30 + 20
            ElseIf i > 3 Then
                myButton(i).Top = 40
                myButton(i).Left = (i - 4) * 30 + 20
            ElseIf i > 0 Then
                myButton(i).Top = 70
                myButton(i).Left = (i - 1) * 30 + 20
            Else
                myButton(i).Top = 100
                myButton(i).Left = 50
            End If

            Me.Controls.Add(myButton(i))
        Next

Any other questions just ask.

Good luck.
