How to create a simple e-mail form that will send the e-mail immediately without opening your email editor!?

Sendmail script

Hey How's it going - I'm new to the forum and have a question about the mail script. I have taken a course in html and css, however never really delved into scripts. I want to create a form for the local youth football team, so that they can register for football every year. There will only be 100 or a little more registering. Will this be an alright method of doing this? Also is that script the only code you have to put on the html page? Thanks.

Yes BUT there is no validation performed in this script.

It will be better to start a new thread and perform some googling to search for the form mail tutorial scripts.

I have been searching. Even my html books really are not clear. I'll just have to keep on trying to piece it together with trial and error. Thanks anyway.
